Biden can't hide his racism ... another law from him that discriminates against Black people! https://www.foxnews.com/politics/menthol-cigarettes-ban-fda-white-house-discrimination The White House is "aware" of concerns that the Biden administration's proposed menthol cigarettes ban could unfairly target Black people, principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Thursday. Rev. Al Sharpton has previously said such bans are unfair for Black smokers. In a letter sent to Becerra and other officials, the ACLU along with dozens of others, including the Drug Policy Alliance, said while such a ban is "no doubt well-intentioned," it would have "serious racial justice implications." "Such a ban will trigger criminal penalties, which will disproportionately impact people of color, as well as prioritize criminalization over public health and harm reduction," the letter stated. "A ban will also lead to unconstitutional policing and other negative interactions with local law enforcement."
