Probationary question

I know the answer to this is ultimately to ask a shop steward lol don't hate me, I just thought I'd check here first to see if anyone knew. I had COVID, I got it about 3 days into my training and I had to miss 11 days because of it. They were pretty cool about it and as soon as they saw I actually came back after quarantine they approved me for emergency sick pay, but this most likely means I'm short those 11 working days counting toward my being able to join the union, right?
