Being on short-term or long-term disability while someone is slated to hit top rate doesn't affect that outcome right?
Good question.
I am not 100% sure but I think that your progression is put on hold while out on STD or LTD.
As I said----not sure.
Damn, I can't believe I put this in the retirement section. Can this get moved?
No. Wait are you saying will your disability pay be reflective of top rate, or will you be at top rate when you return?Being on short-term or long-term disability while someone is slated to hit top rate doesn't affect that outcome right?

No. If you were due to hit top rate, you get it no matter if you were out or not. No delay for being on disability. I think I'm right, if someone knows otherwise please correct me.TR when someone returns.
If you know the answer then why ask the question?

You still need your punches while going through progression in order to get to the next step up in pay.If it stops for that then why doesn't it stop for everything else like someone's seniority continuing while there out? And I know that doesn't happen because I've been on STD a few times.
If you are off ling enough you can lose vacation time and pension credits.

What about workmans comp?
Again you are not working so you will not get credit towards your progressionWhat about workmans comp?
Comp does not affect progression but may affect vacation and pension.
Not here.
