Ask to be moved to the closest center. If one is 5 minutes away just tell them you'd be right down the road if they ever needed anything. HR is just trying to meet hiring goals so they get paid more. If they know you're planning on making this long term and you're not one of the people who quit after a week, they may be a bit more flexible.
