R.I.P., Jimmy. Never missed a show. Was DJ at local station here for awhile too.

Hmmmm - never heard of him or the show Shindig.

I have heard the term "have a Shindig" but I never knew where it came from.

My parents were blind so I don't have many TV memories until I was around 13 - 14 years old.

Looked it up on Youtube and found this jewel of Delaney Bramblett (of Delaney and Bonnie fame) with Leon Russell playing piano.
