And no cause of death? R.I.P., you were way too young Nancy.

30 years of marriage in that industry is something to be very proud of.

JMO... I'm guessing it wasn't unexpected. I'm thinking they knew she was dying of something.... Like cancer and just kept it real quiet.

So sad. At least the kiddos are older. It's a hard loss either way, but seems so much worse when kids are little. She got to see her babies grow up.

I just saw him on some talk show last week. He didn't say anything about his wife being sick----but then again it could have been and old repeat show. He's a funny man. R.I.P. Mrs Short

Turns out it was cancer...

Nancy Dolman, the actor's wife of 30 years, died Saturday at the couple's home in Pacific Palisades, a rep for the actor confirmed to E! News.
No other details were available, but Nancy, 58, had been battling cancer since 2007.
The thespian couple, who met in the 1970s while performing in a Candian production of Godspell, had three adult children together.
Short, who in recent years has played creepy just as proficiently as he pulls off funny, is nominated for an Emmy for his supporting role in the FX drama Damages
