I actually don't care who wins...the situation on the ground will still be controlled by monied interests, lobbyists, and associated vultures.
My question to you is, what if Obama wins a second term?

I think the better question is, will the United States of America be able to handle it.---Quite frankly I DON'T THINK SO.....But you can keep on NOT Caring.
NOT ONLY THAT... BUSH got 3000 people killed on 9/11 and THESE same people who are on this board complaining now were ALL AGAINST investigating 9/11 and the false claims of weapons of mass destruction.
In addition, the BUSH administration covered up the killing of former NFL player PAT TILLMAN and went for MONTHS spreading a lie they knew was false in order to drum up support for both wars... and ONCE AGAIN, this same group of people on this board defended that action with all their hearts.
Now however, they want to get to the bottom of bengazi because 4 americans were killed and amidst the confusion of the day, they want to hang the president over an explanation.
Its completely ironic.

Look slick, EVEN BUSH's OWN "personally appointed" weapons of mass destruction investigator resigned when he SAID there WERE NO WEAPONS of MASS DESTRUCTION in IRAQ and they never were.
They were all destroyed years before we ever dropped the first bomb or set the first boot on the ground.

The answer is no and I think the last 12 years has been towards the conclusion of that answer and regardless of who wins next Tuesday I see no reason why it will get any better. Depending on one's POV it may superficially get better but at the principled core? No.
BrownArmy's point about who really runs this show is well made. The fact that this Presidential election is going to spend nearly $1 billion dollars (no matching federal funds) yet we are to conclude in a world driven completely by the bottomline and the profit motive that this $1 billion dollar investment is just made off pure civic pride and duty? Really?
