God was with Jake and Elwood. So then you don’t believe in the omnipresence of God.
Ok. I do believe in an omnipresent God. I believe this spiritual principle is taught in the Bible.

i havent chosen whats right or wrong based on what feels good. i understand when you stand with the oppressed eventually you are treated like the oppressed and i dont expect this to feel good. That's just your world view of life. You have chosen what is right or wrong simply based on what makes you feel good, which is why religion itself means very little. Or people who claim to be religious for the sake of the being religious.

and your formed your world view based on what they say is good religion. That feels right to you. It's a humanist view of right and wrong.i havent chosen whats right or wrong based on what feels good. i understand when you stand with the oppressed eventually you are treated like the oppressed and i dont expect this to feel good.

he said faith is about love and justice
chris hedges minister say its about action just like cornel west and its about love and justice especially for poor and oppressed.
james cone theologian says faith is about freedom from oppression. notice the opposite of the word oppressed is freedom, liberation. its about justice here and now not after we die.
so basically all 3 of my religious leaders have the same definition of faith.
i have no doubt you have a different definition and all we can do is talk about it and then make up our own damn minds. it turns out my original definition of people who are non religious aligns with my ministers, but i thought they would say something like that.
niether cornel west nor james cone view because humanism is a rejection of god.and your formed your world view based on what they say is good religion. That feels right to you. It's a humanist view of right and wrong.
which god? Is it the same Christ that I worship? Or is it another version?niether cornel west nor james cone view because humanism is a rejection of god.
god is a liberating force who is one with the oppressed according to west. cone says god acts on behalf of hte poor and people who are not free.
im sure its the same one.which god? Is it the same Christ that I worship? Or is it another version?

Then it isn't the same God I serve. If they don't live their life based on the gospels then they are false teachers and doing it for their own purposes. If they were true followers of Christ it would also be their mission to try and bring as many others to Christ with them through salvation; and you are living proof that they either don't do that or you have rejected it.im sure its the same one.
youre a christian. theyre christians too. but you understand it differently. i believe in their definition of faith. Then it isn't the same God I serve. God is a liberating force? We had slavery in this country for well over 200 years. We still have poor and impoverished people today. What you're doing is using God as a justification to implement socialism. You believe in an utopia on Earth. You don't want a system where people achieve success through hard work. What you want is to force hard workers to share their success with you without you earning it. You think you've found an angle claiming Jesus was for what you want. An examination of the Bible clearly debunks that idea. People like Cornel West say this stuff because it gets them well paid positions in Ivy League schools.niether cornel west nor james cone view because humanism is a rejection of god.

im just quoting my christian theologians and ministers. its sortve just common sense. the matrix revolutions ends with "i believed, i believed"God is a liberating force? this is exactly what a humanist view is. Even if your ministers claim it in a religious way, you use it through your "common sense".im just quoting my christian theologians and ministers. its sortve just common sense.
Yeah man. You're on it as usual.religion is a good thing for good people and a bad thing for bad people. in the case of trump he uses it for bad.
since you have a different definition of faith than i do, you should question your own beliefs.this is exactly what a humanist view is. Even if your ministers claim it in a religious way, you use it through your "common sense".
Look, you have the humanist view. You are not a Christian nor living for Christ. Just embrace it and be the best person you can be
