[QUOTE="tourists24, post: 6158383, member: 11490"] Almost every single time he held an event, he always welcomed people to come forward to get salvation. I know baptism was an important act to follow up but never heard him teach that it was a requirement for salvation itself. It was simply the next step once you took that step. Listening to him started my journey on my path to salvation. I made my commitment to Christ on a bible camp in Myrtle Beach, SC. Soon after that I talked with my wrestling coach (who was also my Sunday school teacher), and he walked up with me after service to tell my pastor that I wanted my baptism. I did both but I never viewed my salvation wasn't a thing until after baptism. The reason I love this thread is to hear other's experience with what they feel the bible teaches and the reasons behind it. It can greatly help me in the future to not lead others down a wrong path.
