The Marines are not going to make him shave?

The Marines are more concerned about making sure the Navy will give them a ride to the war.

The Marines are not going to make him shave?

There were guys who legit couldn't shave because it caused a skin reaction, but they had to use a depilatory cream instead. There was a practical reason for this as you can't get a skin tight seal with your gas mask if you have a beard.
