I was born and raised in NYC and lived there when Ed Koch was the Mayor.
I did not share all of his political views but as far as Politicians go --I believe he was a good person.

I wasn't a big fan of Koch but respected him. He was certainly a character but was honest and you trust his word.

I liked Koch and it didn't matter what party he belonged to.


I figure maybe he had some common sense and that translated to common sense in his solutions to problems.

There is no common sense in the white house today........spend your way to prosperity ??
