Same Drivers Going Home

Just wondering how things work at other centers... At out center if we have extra cover drivers, anyone with senority can "write their name on a board" and go home, forcing cover drivers to run their route (Mostly when it's terrible that day)
I've heard at other Centers a bid driver must ask a cover driver to run their route if they want to go home...

They do that with guys who will probably go over 9.5 and most are fine with going home.

Here they always have the guys who can't finish a route as "over" and they'll usually go home or shuttle...unless someone with more seniority bumps them

I get texts from my on car all of the time asking if I want off. It's hard to say no i would like to work at 6:30 when you're still laying in bed.

Had a guy in my center who had it down to a science. Knew exactly how many hours he needed to count
for a full year pension time. That's all that mattered to him. Man, he was good at it too.

My Teamster healthcare fund receives the same dollars per week whether I work one hour or sixty hours.

Have a guy who has worked only 6 days this year so far! One day a week to keep his insurance. I don't think he's gotten his 1801 the past 3 years!
