Ok, I just got through the second paragraph before I couldn't bear to read you telling me what my logic is anymore. It's not about being perfect or shutting up. It's about working on yourself and the things you have control over. If you can't afford rent, you can't directly control rent prices, so you have options: find a way to make more money so you can afford rent, move to a place with lower rent, live in the wilderness and improve your survival skills, live in your parent's basement and tell billionaires how to behave. You have the option to rail against society, but you best be in a position to actually understand the implications of the changes you want made, and how those would effect others. You can't just demand that rents be lowered because it benefits you. What about the retired couple who worked their whole lives to buy property so the could rent it out? You expect them to take a loss so you can live cheaper? That's the same as you stealing from them in the past. Actions have consequences. Work on getting yourself out of the basement, get some perspective. As you improve yourself you will be less concerned about what other people do or don't do and whether it measures up to your expectations. You talk about morality and people not acting morally, as a big part of the problem. What's worse is that without a shared value system, your sense of morality will likely never align with mine, and we will never agree on what is moral. Liberty is the only way through which the superior sense of morality can manifest itself. People have to be free to make their mistakes.and learn from them. Anything less is some degree of tyranny, which does not lend itself to morality. People stop taking responsibility for their own choices, and blame others for their failures. Because the existence of others makes it impossible to be completely liberated, we settle on some compromise between liberty and tyranny. The form of government that promotes liberty most and tyranny least will always be the best for morality to manifest itself.
