No, all was concerned with in the last local election was that the former Secretary Treasurer not be reelected, which came to fruition.

Pretty sure the whole state, if not the region, shared this sentiment.

I googled local 812 strike and checked out the 812 website.

According to that site, the company and union were negotiating without results for a month before the company arbitrarily cut wages by 30% and ended the pension plan(I guess that means no more contributions).

Pretty harsh.

Corporations rarely do anything good....and they are run by people who are making the decisions....cold hearted managers and executives who could care less if their fellow man and coworker has to go live on the street with their family because of a job loss....absolutely pathetic behavior!!!
