Seasonal driver paying dues

I was hired as a seasonal driver last Christmas with the hopes of getting on full time. Of course it didn’t happen and was let go in January. Next I got hired as seasonal over the summer and work from April till September and was let go again. Now I just started back a month ago for Christmas and all of a sudden union dues and initiation fees are being taken out of my checks. Would any of you guys on here know why this would be happening?

Here they take them out 30 days after local is told you signed onto ups. May not have been notified before. Regardless, if they let you go again, get a withdrawal card. Those dues will be credited on your account

No I didn’t ask for a withdrawal card cause I’ve never heard of one lol. I’ll have to look when I get home and see if they had taken them out in the past but I think I would have noticed.
