I realize there have always been job groups that have given low seniority employees priority. However, what I was told is that the groups have been drastically changed. In some areas, a lot more jobs are grouped together (hubs for example) and other groupings made much smaller probably to discourage bidding. Also, someone mentioned CEV points, and I was told flat out that CEV points are no more. Previously, full timers earned 1 point per month and part timers earned half a point. This was done away with completely I was told and they are simply going by the hire date now. Thus, full and part time positions now accrue seniority at the same rate which is a fairly large change. Regardless, before these changes with workday I could easily see my ranking on lots of different jobs and many times I was ranked first or at least in the top 3. I have recently bid on a few of these jobs as I'm trying to transfer back and every position so far I have ranked dead last being out bid by part time employees in various different job categories that previously weren't in the same groupings. I'm going to have to bid on a handler position that has no bids in order to transfer back which sucks.
