if I get moved to another belt and have no seniority over anyone, does that mean that it will be easier for the higher ups too let me go?

yes, higher seniority = have the option to work longer always. If they want you gone and are not done yet (happens to me a lot) then make sure to clearly state to your sup what you have not done yet so they cannot pin you for missing air or something of the likes for kicking you off the clock early. Grievance is for when you see someone with less seniority than you working on your way out.
If you are talking about getting LAYOFF then no, building seniority is the whole building, not a single line.

Who is letting anyone go? Look around, they need bodies. At the current starting wage, plenty leave.
