Geez, Moreluck, just when you side had me convinced Obama's a Muslim, you drop this bomb....:whiteflag: Being that a whole hosts of Ex-Bush worshippers desserted their republican base for the security of the Independent party, your right, I'm guilty of tying Ind with Reps. That's my hang up, but I've got news for you, there will always be politicians in Fed Gov't. Those who are anti-Obama or, anti-establishment won't be satisfied unless someone who fits their profile is calling the shots. There's a whole host of Education reform info if you google Obama Ed. There it will spell out the direction this Adm wants to improve the quality of Education and bring it up to speed, so our children can stay competative with the rest of the world, and increase the best teachers pay...etc. This Adm understands performance is not based on checks and squares that a multiple answer test implys. I don't know how or where you formed your opinions about teacher unions or org's but they seemed to be onboard with this Adm's ideas, and who else better to ask as consultants with actual hands on experience. Now here lies the problem, the resistance screams "Big Gov't" with every penny spent on a program, even as important as education. It's a no win situation with the critics.
