And this is why UPS has the clean shaved policy. If you have facial hair, then it is open to opinion as to what is neat and trimmed. With the policy we have now, there is little room for debate.

No different then hair above the shoulders or mustache above the lower lip.

The folks who grow their staches...I give them a never ending ration of crap. The older fellas I give a pass to. Some people do look dignified with mustaches. Some people look dignified with beards and goat tees. I think it's old personally. I know I look less like a beluga whale with a neat trimmed goat or beard. It's easier to maintain a professional look when everyone has to follow the same grooming methods. Don't hold your breath folks. Invest in good skin care and driving will force you to lose some weight in your face so in a few months, you may like your chiseled good looks.
