shipment from USA to Sweden not being delivered

Hey guys. I never had a problem with UPS in America, but was it was a mistake to use them for an international shipment?

I sent a birthday gift, and it was supposed to be delivered on the 25th, but it's still not delivered, and when I call UPS they tell me that it's in another country so they can't do anything. They did tell me it cleared customs, and it said it was out for delivery on the 25th, but that apparently did not happen.

Is there any way for me to get them to deliver this package or find out what's up with it? When it said there were "adverse weather conditions", the weather was fine. Thanks!

Without a tracking number I can't help you other than say. Your package will get delivered it appears there where issues with the weather.

You could call 1-800-782-7892 that is number for export and import shipments they might be able to help you more.

Adverse weather conditions could have been present at any point or location in the shipments route, not just the destination. The exception scans can be entered anywhere and at any time; the package does not have to be physically present to do that. The left in building scan could have, in theory, been entered by the same people who entered the adverse weather scan. Though, iIf we're to assume that everyone's doing everything correctly, the adverse weather would have been legitimate, but the left in building scan would mean it was misplaced and found later. Why? Mis-sorted, overlooked, or another unspecified problem all together which would cause it to be set aside, eg. the box opened, or the thermal label came off.
