How long does it usually take to start receiving short term disability? I filled out forms from the union rep but then a week later he called and said I needed to file another set of papers to Aetna to protect my benefits? I am so confused by all of this. I also have all my vacation and sick time that should have been paid out to me by now to cover the waiting week.
