There is probably valid points with all the posters. The amount of information one wants to offer is totally up to that person. Just by registering a username doesn't mean your giving up your personal information. Anybody can get a free e-mail account at yahoo or hotmail or a number of other sites, far as having to have am e-mail address when registering. Shoot I have 2 or 3 other e-mails I use when I'm going into a site that I might suspect of selling e-mails to spammers. My take on registering is nothing more then giving yourself some type of identifty to others. IE: over9.5 has that wild eyeball avatar, Scratch has the pup dressed with a UPS shirt avatar. Tieguy has the statue of liberty avatar and so on with the rest of us. a lot of these people you might get to know their views on things, But I wouldn't have the faintiest idea who they were if I past them on the street. In away I just seem to have more respect for those that have some kind of identity and put more weight into what they post vs. somebody that just uses the anonymous poster label. Just by registering, your not exposing yourself to public scrutiny or making it easy for others to find you. It's just a way of others to identify who they are communicating with.
