What are your thoughts on this topic?
Any union member that sees someone doing something unsafe should be punished. I could care less about management their idiots. Union people should say something and show someone how to be safe.
Don't they just past the buck down to us? And yes they should ignoring a safety issue then someone gets hurt. That's on them.
It's funny because I can walk around all day and point out safety issues to hourlies and get blown off like I'm full of crap. I'll tell you, but if you choose to ignore it the injury is on you, not me
Yes and no.
My management team is full of integrity.
Nope, on you. You have to protect us from ourselves. Part of being "TheMan"
This is such a stupid topic.
How would anyone know if it registered with the management person unless its so freaking obvious...
Oh apparently you haven't met @Integrity
All of his topics are like this.
UPS doesn't give a wet pile of dog turds about your safety unless they have to pay for something...tell them you might not have enough room in your truck for pickups they'll have two more trucks there in 38 seconds and message you off the hook...tell them you have heat stroke and you won't hear back from them
What about a pile of dry cat turds?
My job isn't to hold hands. I'll gladly offer constructive criticism. If you want to ignore it that is all you.
Blame goes to you though.
We need more managers like that.
It really doesn't. If I document it, through an observation or safe work method and talk with you, the blame goes on you. I attempted to change the behavior and you chose to ignore it.
You didn't try hard enough, fault is with you.
Own it suit
I'll look into it.
I'll own my own shortcomings and mistakes. I won't own another adult's who made a conscious decision to ignore my feedback.
Can't hear you.
