The economy does better with a Democrat as a president and a Republican controlled Congress ... at least in the last 50 years. It is a "checks and balance" to make sure that only things that should get done ... get done.

I believe this is the best set-up and even stated in several posts that I believe it might be better to have Obama and Republican controlled Senate and House of Reps. Totally sucked when Repubs had all but not near as bad as 2009 - 2010 when the Dems had all three - total friggin disaster.
