I started at 17 and that was in 2005. They'll take folks at that age, but they have to get a work permit from their local Department of Social Services.

Not true. I worked with a few sorters up on the sort aisle who were still in HS and not 18. Though they were guys. If OP is a semi attractive female, do not hire on here.
