ss sad day in Florida

Cypress Gardens is closing, we live across the lake from the gardens sure will miss all the free ski shows and the Christmas lighting. Seriously it is a sad day really good friends have worked there for 25 yrs and now they have nothing in the way of insurance and retirement. Makes you appreciate our good jobs.

I first visited Cypress Gardens when I was 8 years old. We took our kids there (all five of them) each time we visited Florida. Since we have lived in Florida we visited the park many times ourselves and took the Grandchildren there too. We will all miss that historic Florida attraction.

Why are they closing? I have never been there but I have heard of it. That is a shame, it sounds like a place my family would love to see, I feel sorry for the good people who worked there, best of luck to them.
