Starting on Sunday

Hi! Will be starting on Sunday as a loader/unloader. Job posting says $24.50/hour with bonuses. Does anyone know what the base pay is for this type of job? What are the bonuses for...productivity? attendance? Just curious as to how this all works. Thanks!

When I started in 1981 preload paid $7.69/hr and all my friends were jealous! The only Bonus we got was we had a job if we came back the next day. The good days!

It’s probably an attendance bonus and that pay rate is estimated based on 25 hour work weeks. If you work more hours you get paid more of course but the weekly bonus does not increase. The bonus will go away after a while. Base pay varies based on location but it’s probably high teens. You will find out soon anyway.

Our bldg bumped everyone's rate to 23 per hr if they were making less than that. Anyone over that nothing.

I’m willing to be reasonable. But expect no less the $58 an hour in Aug ‘23 if things stay like this. Otherwise, it is time to strike. STRIKE!
