I think the kinds of people who can afford to travel to DC aren’t working class whites people. I think they are well to do white people. I think a lot of cops, a lot of  business owners are republicans and they hold radical beliefs and they combine those radical beliefs with these grand conspiracies about overthrowing the government. And they listen to the gop which is radical and they get their info from these sources that are even more radical and conspiratorial. So it’s not working class whites, the men I work with, most don’t have a college degree, but their incomes place them well outside of working class whites status, and they believe a bunch of nutty bs.
