Can employees be permanently replaced if they go on strike?
For the most part ---NO. Now if you are caught beating up management or scabs or destroying UPS property you probably won't be getting your job back-------------------------unless you have always given them good numbers. Good numbers overrules everything.
Any UPS management employees had better check with corporate before responding to any thread about permanent replacements...
I guarantee this is a very sticky issue and gets the lawyers in a tizzy if management gives any sign of considering this before it actually happens.
Do you want to be "that guy"?
How long have you been retired?
I'm on strike right now.
Beating up scabs..lol
I've got my sign ready...
Coming up on 17 years (June 27)
They do tend to get what's coming to them from what I've heard---sooner or later. I can't speak from experience--we never had a scab at my center for both strikes I experienced.
I will vote NO.
Without even reading the proposal(s)? Come on...
On what grounds? What don’t you like about the proposal?
I have never voted yes. Union is in a concessions give away. You read the past proposals? So put me down as another NO!
Does Cheryl know about this??? You are brown cafe upper mgt now.... isn’t this a conflict of interest??
No, us girls look out for each other.
