Supermoon

Hoax that is an amazing photo.
It almost looks like an orange minus the peel.
It's segmented in appearance,never noticed that before.

Took this one later on ...
Later picture of the "Supermoon" - Perigee Full Moon.
Taken about 45 degrees above the horizon.
...
This picture is definitely sharper than the one taken earlier in the evening. Reducing the atmosphere between the camera and the moon helped out. I also reduced the shutter speed from 1/10 second to 1/20 second.
Added a little blue filter for effect.

When I went to bed last night it was still behind the trees, but I agree with the "very bright" remark.
Then when I got up this morning it was behind the other trees.....
