That’s it I haven’t been inside the portal so that language applies only to the secondary document that you received after you fill out an application. So not going into the portal has nothing to do with that language. Appreciate the clarification!
I dunno. I haven't been into the portal either. Maybe the application is titled 'DVSP separation agreement and general release' and then we are back to square one.

Nothing in the delivered letter has any bold language screaming you most go into the portal and make a decision either way which is where you would see that curious confusing language. I just don’t trust this company!

When you apply for the DVSP, you are agreeing to end your employment with UPS. The second line makes a lot of sense in that context at least

Deranged lunatic
The way I see that, come July 31st, if you don’t revoke, you’re leaving.
That falls under article 6 actually. UPS can give our whatever money they want above and beyond our negotiated prices but at the end of the day you follow the contract for notification of resignation and retirement. Period. Not that I expect the company to be this stupid to pay out backpay and collect tens of thousands of dollars on loan to a :censored2: ton of employees who did not contractually separate and intend to stay. but hey, you'd never know these days.
