The one political tool the GOP has used quite well is it's ability to instill fear  in the hearts of impressionable people who do not have a great deal in the way of formal education . It is a fear that is becoming elevated due to a changing economy whereby if you don't have the education or the highly specialized job skills needed to be part of the new economy life isn't going to be very sweet. Clinton was ridiculed when during his state of the union address he mention the "new" economy. Well, here it is 20 years later and the  fast moving new economy is well underway which has the potential to knock a lot of people out of the middle class.</p></blockquote><p></p>
