He was supposed to toe the politically correct line of "society is to blame" according to them. I am not at all a fan of O'Reilly and he is a loudmouth and can be obnoxious at times but he does sometimes have valid points. I think he is wrong at least as wrong as he is right but his job is to throw out his opinion to generate controversy. Similar to what the left wing comedians also do (although O'Reilly will attack the right far more frequently than Stewart and Colbert attack the left - if they ever attack the left at all that is).</p></blockquote><p></p>
