Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 5238326" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>I agree with that but it's popular in certain groups to say the U.S. killed a million Iraqis or more when every study of what actually happened comes up dramatically short of that.  Or to say that we purposely target civilians.  I think we shouldn't have invaded Iraq but as I see it there were a couple of good things that did come out of it.  The war drew in a lot of Muslim extremists from many countries which we eliminated.  And local Iraqis changed over to our side when they saw the extremists were much worse than us.  Of course leave it to a Democratic administration to come in and muck everything up giving rise to ISIS and Iraq coming under the influence of Iran.</p></blockquote><p></p>
