Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 5274073" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>We're talking empire.  Colonial powers invaded countries, took over and ran things themselves.  Which is what Russia was attempting to do.  Influencing countries with aid isn't the same thing and Zelensky is Ukraine's legitimate president.  Name the countries, since we're an empire as rickyb likes to say, that we've invaded militarily and took over as our possession and ran it ourselves?  That hasn't happened since the Philippines to my knowledge and we eventually gave them autonomy.  If we're an empire please show me because I don't think we're very good at it if we are.</p></blockquote><p></p>
