Symptoms of a greater structure that invades and takes over. By the way many of the countries we "meddled" in were during the Cold War when we were thwarting the Soviet Union which was also meddling and supporting Marxists insurgents. I guess you Marxists have never forgiven the U.S. for ultimately defeating the Soviet Union and preventing a worldwide Marxist state. The U.S. isn't totally innocent in their approach, and made huge mistakes supporting dictators in exchange for them keeping communists out of their countries. That often involved brutal suppression. It wasn't pretty, but war never is. As for Russia, the world should be advanced enough and civilized enough that it is no longer acceptable to invade others to take what they have. And that is what this is about. So when is it acceptable? The U.S. bombing Serbia to stop a genocide in Kosovo is a prime example of using military power for good. The genocide in Rwanda should.have never escalated to the level it did. The U.N. should've taken decisive action but failed. There are bad actors in the world that make militarys necessary. But hopefully someday militarys will be smaller and only defensive in nature. Not holding my breath.
