No one likes McConnell.
I think most people who follow Republican politics understand McConnell is a POS who has been holding back conservatism throughout his entire grip on power, all the way back to the tea party movement.

The House of Representatives controls spending, not the Senate. McConnell had undue influence on the midterms because he does control the disbursement of PAC funds to assist candidates. He definitely harmed the chances of some candidates by withholding funds from them.
