I saw a list of Obama's accomplishments the other day. One that stood out was that we're importing less Mideast oil. Takes some gall to claim that because the increase in domestic production was strictly on private land. Obama shut down new exploration and drilling on Federal lands as well as offshore not long into his first term. Also his defenders like to say he had to spend so much because of the huge recession. And yet his spending is fraught with waste. Solyndra is a prime example. Half a billion spent on one company that shortly after went bankrupt and all that money gone. Which makes you wonder who's pockets got lined on that deal. And while most of America was suffering during the recession Washington was booming. He expanded gov't exponentially with many thousands more $150k annually jobs than previous administrations. And then there were the trips. Taking huge amounts of personnel overseas at huge costs. Michelle flying in a separate jet. Doing a flyover over NYC for a photo op with Air Force One without warning anyone. There were a lot of these things. Does seem to have settled down in the last year or so. But then Hillary was running so they needed to keep a low profile. Could go into the various "gates", could go into how he was the most devisive president on race relations. Could go into how he did little to create jobs and I suspect there was some kind of "social justice" aspect to that. But he will most likely be remembered for doubling the national debt, and I think enough voters realized that Hillary would go even further with that, and it's unsustainable. Or he may be remembered for letting the Middle East fall apart, how he led from behind, and how difficult his relationship with Israel was.
