Westwood Also Receives Special 3D Replica Putter As Part Of Demonstration

UPS Global Brand Ambassador and professional golfer Lee Westwood visited The UPS Store in New York City today to get a firsthand look at The UPS Store's high-quality 3D printing services for small businesses. During the visit, Westwood held a live putting demo featuring a specially created 3D putter. The putter, an actual replica of his PING putter, was created using The UPS Store's 3D printing services.

"There's a tremendous amount of innovation in the golf industry today, especially on the course," said Westwood. "It's amazing to see how The UPS Store's 3D printing services can help small businesses bring their innovative ideas to life."

The UPS Store's services enable small businesses to print high-quality, professional prototypes, artistic renderings and promotional materials, without the cost or technical know-how necessary when owning a 3D printer.

"We're constantly looking at ways to meet the demands of small businesses and provide them with the latest technology offerings," said Daniel Remba, small business technology leader at The UPS Store. "Our stores are able to handle a wide range of 3D printing requests. We look forward to expanding our services later this fall."

The UPS Store is currently testing 3D printing services in-store, in select locations, for startups, small businesses and retail customers. For additional information on The UPS Store and 3D printing services, please visit www.theupsstore.com.
