This has to do with the IBT effort to organize FedEx Freight, which is under the NLRB. They aren't interested in Express for now.

Yep, we need to support them however we can. Talk to a Freight driver on the dock if you get the chance...they hate FedEx.

There isn't anything we can do but offer encouragement and moral support. I really hope Freight employees aren't going to fall for the BBQs and ass-smooching that the Memphis Goon Squads will be peddling. Nothing will change long-term, and you'll still be up Sheet Creek when it comes to wages, benefits, and contracting your work out to owner/operators. Stop them now. Never trust FedEx. Your only way out is to have a contract that will force them to the bargaining table.
