Three and a half months ago major Dems were calling Trump a racist and xenophobic for banning Chinese citizens from traveling here. Major media outlets too.

He has proved himself a racist since he declared, "very fine people on both sides" and a xenophobic even before the Muslim ban with his fascination about a wall!
Try to focus. The complaint about Trump later was he didn't do enough to stop the spread of the virus. But when he did do something early on he was called a racist for it by the same people. People who said the virus was no big deal. You can't have it both ways. Very fine people on both sides made mistakes early on and later realized more needed to be done. And now that we know more about who's at risk, death rates, etc the time has come to go forward with reopening the economy. Strangely enough the areas controlled by Democrats are balking at reopening. Could it be they see a bad economy as the way to derail Trump? The science doesn't seem to support a total lockdown.
