Forget time shares. Buy a rental unit in an upscale vacation community. The rent pays for the unit if you are in a high demand area.

Bought a condo in Kauai back in 1994. It has paid for itself and then some with rentals up until COVID hit. Have not been able to rent it out since last March after the island shut down.

Fuel prices fluctuate greatly during all recent presidencies. If $4.11 wasn’t high in 2008, it’s not high in 1021 or beyond. Why make things up?
