To Wear boots or not to wear boots, that is the question

In our hub I recently was talk to about my footwear, I was told by a PT Sup that I should have in boots (he said it in a real disrespectful way) and I responded with "It's only recommended to wear boots not required" the Sup gets pissed and gets the FT sup on me. Me and the Full Time Sup talk it out I explained my point and the FT sup was baffled but actually agreed with me that the rules for footwear is leather uppers and non-slip soles which are technically tennis shoes. The FT said I was cool to work to the dismay of the PT sup. My question to you all is, what are the requirements for your footwear in your hub/center?

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I use to see a lot of tennis shoes and all of the sudden our hub started enforcing the boot rule, but I always felt the rule was not certified and UPS was just making up :censored2:
There is a rule. You can't wear a normal tennis shoe. It must be 100% leather upper.

But like I said many sketchers and new balance shoes meet the requirements b
