fyi, if you don't get the job, you won't get called and told so

it's a big no-no in HR to tell someone they didn't get a job

Ok,I told a white lie..last friday was my second tour.i had a tour right after peak earlier this year.

Your not getting the job because you can't keep your mouth shut. You apparently have volunteered more information than you needed to the HR person. They didn't need to know your life story they only needed to know that you where looking for a job on a specific shift.
