In my area one route per loop could be designated a training route.

Oddly it seems that every route that I bid or had been on is a training route. I never was displaced to train someone new though. It's he benefit of not knowing much.

Nope.

Depends on the area.... here in the Atlantic area they can only use up to 15 percent; and once they change a route to a training route they cannot change the status again until the next bid time.
