The Teamsters never gave out turkeys.

UPS used to give out turkeys but haven't since 2008. Our Local used to coordinate with UPS to take any unclaimed or donated bird to a local food center.

They did go from turkeys. To Cornish hen size. Before they ended. I really don't care if they stopped. I'm to the point where they don't surprise me any more. Hell helpers get to wear what they want now. I cant wait to hear about the helpers showing up in panamas this yr

We have guys that wear insulated overalls after bad winter storms.

Very good to point this out. I swear people actually think we get our benefits from the union. We get nothing from the Teamsters. UPS funds everything.

Turkeys ended around 2008.

2 years in a row the extra turkeys were left in the building underneath the heat duct over the weekend and spoiled and thrown away. That's after management had said they would be donated to the food shelf.

2008 was when we had a massive downturn in the economy so the powers that be "temporarily" suspended our goodies like the turkey and safe driving and service awards.
