Lowering your body temperature by 20 degrees would kill you.

Don't use it.

I already have one made by this manufacturer, there is no way it will drop my body temperature twenty degrees. This is a small size. You wet it with cold water and it goes around your neck.

I've gotten a couple of these the past few years

They only work in dry climates. It's way too humid to use them here.

You're right. It's the evaporation process that cools the towel down. I tried one a couple of weeks ago in this humidity and it didnt work for me either.
