I couldn't help looking at brother realbrown1's concern over his own local (952) before I did research on all the the Southern California locals. It turns out that Local 63, home of the Joint Council 42 President and one of Local 952s neighboring locals has also been operating in negative net flow for the past six years. Let's put the numbers next to each other: Local 63 2008 -$258,649 2009 -$54,106 2010 -$156,958 2011 -$216,282 2012 -$49,767 2013 -$7,340 Local 952 2008 $768,159 2009 $570,037 2010 $197,900 2011 $165,714 2012 -$17,643 2013 -$221,664 As you can see Local 63 has been operating in negative net flow for the past six years, but has managed to reduce their deficit to a mere -$7,340.
