We have had great on car supervisors and great managers here. Management and hourly actually had a mutual respect for each other. It was mutually beneficial to all. Drivers would go out of their way to work with mgmt. to ensure our center was running like a well oiled machine. Management would go out of their way to work with drivers for days off, etc. Mgmt listened to drivers suggestions. Currently we have great on car supervisors. They know what they are doing. Definitely not pushovers but they are not the retaliatory, dishonest, discriminatory, unethical, workplace violence inflicting types. My point is that the unethical tactics listed above are the tools of choice for "some" in management at UPS. Some in management do get caught and their behavior is corrected thru demotion or counseling. If you don't think some in management utilize these tactics; you are nieve. New drivers or drivers with targets on their backs should be aware.
