How much do you pay for your monthly Union Dues?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that it is twice what you earn per hour once a month. So, for example, if you make $10 an hour that would be $20 a month (Which is what I pay).
i get 10.90 per hr and my dues are 22 per month
Here is is twice your hourly rate, plus $10 extra if you are full time.
it was 2.5 my hourly when I was there... it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the $$ I dump into insurance coverage at FredEx...
2.5 times your hourly rate if you're over 11 an hour if you're under 11 it's only 2 times. That's Nationally.
Our local takes 2.75 X hourly rate.I paid 83$ this week.Money well spent
2.5 times what you make an hr I pay 20 a month.
Someone should tell the Upstate NY Teamsters because they have been charging us 3 times the hourly since the last contract.
Of course, if Solidarity says it, it must be gospel.
23.32/hr (minus .15 differential)
.20 difference in payrate. I pay $58/month.
Whether or not it's gospel, it's accurate. If you're paying 3 times your hourly rate then that's a special deal your local has worked out for you that supersedes the NMA.
I will scan my paystub in and show you--we are paying 3 times.
I want a refund!!
You can't be serious. I'm hoping your making fun of me was all in good fun. I would post the link to the IBT's website to show but I see its already done.
Your local can charge you more, that is the national rate.
Relax--I was having fun with you--but we do pay 3 times our hourly here.
It's cool. I'll gladly pay 3 times our rate here if we could choose where that extra .5 went too. But I'm assuming that'll never happen
19.00 per week
Everyone should stop this nonsense.
You will pay your dues and say nothing.
How dare anyone challenge our great teamster leaders, for without their insight this would be the greatest union ever.
What extra services are you getting for your money?
They let them sort through their trucks before start time.
